Marchant XLA
Small Marchant machine, thought to be useful for the home and small shops etc., but never was much of a success. They came on the market in 1928, and the plug was pulled again in 1931. Not that many are around. This one, as most of these machines, is missing some of its key caps (and in addition, some of the ends of the setting pins ...), but is otherwise in fully operational condition. Placing the counter register in the carriage as opposed to the top right of the body saved both materials and parts.
