Triumphator C

A very nice, relatively early Triumpahtor C, the miniaturized version that was made when the Triumphator engineers realized that having to buy a purpose-built desk to make sure it didn't collapse when the calculating machine was put on it, was perhaps not doing their sales any good.

This machine is embellished with the all-but-unobtrusive dealer decal from the Brussels dealer, Longini. I have no clue how the machine then ended up in Germany, because that is where I bought it. Taken "home" during the World War 2, perhaps ?

The machine comes with its metal case, which has handy feet on the back for setting it upright ready for grabbing by the leather handle, which hasn't survived as well as the rest of the machine.

It sits on one of the shelves of the library, between the books, as it is a visually pleasing machine with enough text to read to catch people's interest.
