Large capacity machine with quick-clearing, with both clearing handles on one side of the register. It was a wreck when I got it - the clearing was mis-timed, which woudl make it block every sinlge time. That was the easiest repair. There were other instances of things being mis-timed inside, all repairable. What wasn't repairable is that the first setting lever has lost its clicking action - probably a spring broke inside, and that means a full disassembly. I haven't gotten around to that yet. When I wanted to try it out while taking the pictures, the main crank wouldn't unlock either, so seeing what is wrong there necessitates opening up the machine as well. I bought it from a couple in the Netherlands. It had been the ladies' uncle's machine, who had worked in the mining business in South Africa. It was one of the things he brought back to the Netherlands when he retired. They had it valued, so it comes with a piece of paper that cost them 10 EUR, which says it's worth 150-200 EUR. After a few months trying to get rid of it at that price, they realised that maybe the valuation firm had made a boo-boo. I got it at the price I had been offering since the beginning, complete with taxation report ...
