Lipsia I
For some reason this did not get photographed with the other Lipsias. It was bought locally, and also sold here in Antwerp, probably as a second hand machine though, because the phone number of the dealer is a bit long for dating back to the 1920s.The machine is a Lipsia 1, but not the very earliest model, because it has an alternative carriage transport, and one I've never seen before, being much wider than the usual one employed by Lipsia. The wooden cover has seen better days, but it has managed to do its job well, protecting the machine from outside influences. In addition, it was very well oiled when I got it, and thus the condition is quite good today. It works flawlessly, without doing much to it except giving it a light cleaning.
