1965 s/n 10 912 Reversible hand-operated four species calculator with pinwheels

The BRUNSVIGA 13 RM was manufactured after the fusion with Olympia in a different company in Spain, after the manufacture of hand-operated machines had been stopped. The quality of the 13 RM however, left something to be desired.

Manual and original packaging of the BRUNSVIGA 13 RM

The manual was printed in Spain, where also the 13 RM machines were built. Apart from the main operations, it discusses e.g. the calculation of sums and differences of products.

1962 s/n E 3152 Reversible electrically driven four species calculator with bi-quinary stepped drums, multiplication keys, automatic division and shortened full keyboard

This research model should have continued the development series from BRUNSVIGA 10, 11 E and 11 S, but was however never series-produced. The BRUNSVIGA 12 AK has an Olympia logo.

1957, s/n E-3138 Reversible hand-operated four species calculator with pinwheels

The machine has a backtransfer mechanism. The start-up of the manufacturing was no longer pursued after the take-over by Olympia.

Advertisement for the BRUSNVIGA 13 RK and D 13 R II

Advertisement for the 13 RK and D 13 R II. The 13 RK had been the standard model since 1951. After the takeover by Olympia, the "Brains of Steel" logo was made more abstract and in the 1960 brought into a more angular shape to adapt it to the Olympia logo.
